Craft Room Update

Wow, what a manic few weeks!

The craft room is now all nicely fitted out, just needs to be made to feel like home and then I will post pictures for you all to see.  It needs some finished crafty projects on shelves along with crafty stash in the cupboards and drawers.  Note to self - Must be strict and only put back what I really want / need to keep!

Craft Room Refit

When is a kitchen not a kitchen?  Good question I can hear you asking (or maybe not!)

Over the last week I have boxed up most of my craft room (sob) so it can be fitted out with new cupboards and shelves, it was such a mess and I am hoping when it's finished it will help me to be more organised.

Here is a pic of just one wall, I can't show you the rest as it is stacked with boxes and bags and I am so embarrassed by it.

As you can see a couple of the new units have been built, the top one is waiting to be put up on the wall, a few more to be made up, work surface to be added and job should be a good one.

Hoping it won't take long as I am back on Hochanda Saturday 12th November with Glue Dots, Sunday 13th November with Zauberperle and then again at the end of November with something else (can't mention what yet - ssshhhhh!!!) all sorts of playing do be done, I mean .......so lots of samples and prep for demos to make.

Off to stroke paper and look at boxes of inks while having a well earned cuppa.

My Own Little Craft Diary

Well I have finally taken the plunge to create my own little craft diary and here it is!

As many of you know I own Two Cats Crafts which has its own blog but wanted my own little craft diary for all sorts of crafts and things I get up to as me.  So you might see baking, cross stitch, sewing or any else that takes my fancy (keep it clean!).

Hoping you will join me for a cuppa and chat here and maybe some of my projects might even inspire you to have a go or try new techniques.  Step by step tutorials, reviews, hints and tips plus general crafty chit chat.

Here is a picture of a project I did a year or so ago using alcohol inks and a very unloved, yellowing phone case.

Think it was sealed with a spray varnish to finish it off, was very happy with it and used it for months afterwards until it was dropped and cracked which happens to the best of them.
